After the diamond district was formerly closed to the public, Diamondland was established in 1983. Due to the demand of an increasing number of diamond tourists, a prestigious 1000 mē large diamond showroom was opened, integrating a part of a diamond factory. Today Diamondland receives more than 100.000 visitors yearly. You will see diamond polishers, a setter and a goldsmith at work. During your visit you can learn all you ever wanted to know about diamonds, in your respective language (including Chinese, Russian and Japanese). In the showroom you can admire a vast collection of beautiful jewellery and loose stones, duty free at the best prices.
